Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G+ lines up for September 4 Indian launch

Infinix is preparing to launch the Hot 70 Pro 5G+ in India on September 4, giving the crowded affordable-5G market another high-refresh option. The company has confirmed a Flipkart-focused release, while pre-launch information points toward a 6.76-inch display capable of 144Hz and a relatively slim body around 7.85mm.

Infinix is also emphasizing the rear design through what it calls an Interactive Active Matrix Cube, another example of smartphone manufacturers adding lighting or information surfaces to otherwise conventional slabs. Battery capacity is expected to remain substantial, with fast charging and reverse charging among the promoted features. Infinix has grown by competing aggressively on visible specifications, especially displays, batteries and design.

The challenge is convincing buyers that software maintenance and camera quality can match the specification sheet. India's affordable phone market leaves very little room for weak value because Realme, Poco, Vivo, Samsung and several domestic brands compete within the same narrow pricing bands. September 4 will reveal whether Infinix has found enough differentiation.
