Galaxy S26 One UI 9 beta gains foldable-first AI features

Samsung has pushed additional One UI 9 features to Galaxy S26 beta testers, including My FanCam, Now Brief improvements and the contextual Now Nudge system. Several of these tools originally appeared on Samsung's 2026 foldables before migrating to the conventional S26 line. My FanCam uses AI-assisted subject tracking to keep a selected person framed during video recording and can reformat footage for different social-media ratios.

Now Brief compiles personalized cards around routines and other information, while Now Nudge attempts to surface context-sensitive suggestions. The update demonstrates Samsung's strategy of using software to shorten the exclusivity period around new Galaxy hardware features. Buyers increasingly expect expensive phones to improve after purchase rather than simply receive security patches.

Samsung has not yet provided a definitive stable One UI 9 release date for the S26 series, so current features remain part of the beta programme. Their arrival nevertheless suggests the final software package is becoming more complete.
