Fingersoft continues testing Hill Climb Racing 3 across selected European markets, with real-time multiplayer representing the sequel's most important mechanical expansion. The Hill Climb Racing formula has always been almost perfectly suited to touchscreens: players control acceleration and braking while unpredictable physics create the challenge and comedy. Introducing live opponents changes that familiar loop substantially.

Real-time racing brings matchmaking, latency, competitive balance and server reliability into a series that previously depended much less on synchronized online play. Fingersoft is currently using markets including the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden and Finland to test those systems before deciding how broadly to expand availability. The sequel retains vehicle upgrading and terrain-driven physics while making social competition a more central retention mechanism.

The key balancing problem will be ensuring upgrades remain rewarding without allowing spending or progression differences to overwhelm driving skill. If Fingersoft gets that balance right, Hill Climb Racing 3 could modernize one of mobile gaming's most enduring franchises without sacrificing the simplicity that made the original so widely accessible.
