Samsung's new CONNECT exhibition is running in Berlin through September 6 as the company uses IFA 2026 to demonstrate how Galaxy devices fit into a much broader AI-powered ecosystem. Mobile highlights include the recently announced Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Book6, while Samsung is linking those products with televisions, home appliances and SmartThings services.
This matters because hardware differentiation is becoming increasingly difficult when competing smartphones share similar processors, displays and camera components. Samsung's answer is to make the surrounding ecosystem more valuable. Galaxy AI features can move between phones and PCs, while SmartThings connects handsets to appliances and home automation. The S26 FE is particularly important because it brings One UI 9 and many Galaxy AI capabilities to a less expensive price tier than Samsung's primary flagships.
IFA gives European customers a chance to try those services together rather than evaluating each device individually. Samsung increasingly wants buyers to think about an interconnected household rather than a single smartphone specification sheet.
