Garena has opened pre-registration for Palworld Online in South Korea on both iOS and Android, providing the clearest sign yet that the licensed mobile MMORPG is moving from announcement into active market preparation. Pocketpair has licensed Garena to build the project around the Palworld universe, but this is not simply a direct smartphone port of the original PC and console game. Palworld Online is being structured around persistent multiplayer, creature collection and MMO-style systems.

On Apple devices, the current listing indicates a requirement of iOS 12 or later and roughly 2.9GB of storage. South Korea is a logical early market because MMORPGs and collection-driven games remain particularly strong there, while its sophisticated mobile audience can provide useful data before wider expansion. Garena also brings considerable experience operating massive smartphone communities.

The central challenge will be retaining the unpredictable sandbox feel that helped make Palworld successful rather than allowing MMO progression systems to overwhelm exploration and experimentation. Pre-registration does not yet constitute a global launch, but it moves the game into a much more tangible phase.
