Flowtica Verso turns the back of a phone into an AI meeting display

The Flowtica Verso is one of IFA's more interesting mobile companions: a MagSafe-compatible AI recorder that attaches magnetically to a smartphone and includes its own always-on e-paper touchscreen. Instead of forcing users to open another application after every meeting, the display can show summaries, calendar items and action points directly on the device. Verso includes 64GB of storage and promises up to 72 hours of battery life.

A permanent LED indicates when recording is active, addressing one of the privacy concerns associated with discreet AI voice recorders. The device weighs 98 grams and can also be used on a desk stand or lanyard. Flowtica plans to ship it during the fourth quarter for $299. The product reflects a broader correction in AI hardware design. Early AI pins often tried to replace the smartphone completely; newer accessories increasingly assume the phone will remain central and instead solve a narrow problem around it.

An e-paper screen is particularly sensible because summaries remain visible with minimal power consumption.
