Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD locks in September 24 mobile launch

Ironhide Game Studio has confirmed that Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD will launch globally on September 24 for iOS, Android and PC, giving one of mobile gaming's longest-running tower-defence franchises a fresh mainline entry. Genesis is a prequel set during the early days of Linirea and centres on stopping a young Vez'nan before his corruption fully takes hold. The campaign includes 18 stages across three environments, more than 40 enemy types, six bosses, 15 upgradeable towers, nine spells and 12 heroes.

A major mechanical change allows players to deploy two heroes simultaneously, creating far more scope for combining active abilities, passive bonuses and ultimate attacks. Towers, heroes and spells also receive individual upgrade trees. Pre-registration is now live on the App Store and Google Play, while PC players can already sample a four-stage demo. For mobile strategy fans, the premium model is equally notable: Genesis is positioned as a conventional paid game rather than another timer-heavy live service.
