Meta's Pocket experiment continues expanding its AI-generated interactive-content model after moving beyond its initial Brazilian test. The application lets users describe an idea, provide images or text and generate small playable experiences known as gizmos. Those creations can then be shared, discovered and remixed through a feed resembling short-form social media. The concept effectively reduces the distance between game creation and ordinary posting.
Instead of learning an engine, coding systems and assembling assets, a user can produce something interactive through prompts. The technology is impressive, but distribution may be the harder problem. If generation becomes almost effortless, the platform risks producing an ocean of repetitive low-value content. Recommendation, moderation and attribution therefore become fundamental parts of the product.
Pocket's importance lies less in whether any individual mini-game is remarkable and more in the possibility that interactive media becomes a mainstream user-generated content format rather than something requiring specialist development skills.
