Samsung's IFA showcase turns Galaxy devices into part of a much larger AI home

Samsung's IFA 2026 presence is centred on a connected-living argument rather than a single smartphone launch. The company's Samsung CONNECT experience links mobile devices, televisions, displays and home appliances around AI-driven services intended to make the wider ecosystem feel coherent. That reflects the direction of the smartphone industry more broadly. Modern phones already have more than enough processing power for ordinary use, making it difficult to win customers through specifications alone.

Ecosystem convenience is harder for competitors to copy. A phone that hands content to a television, controls an appliance or shares AI context with other devices can create long-term loyalty that survives several hardware generations. Samsung is particularly well positioned because it sells products in almost every major consumer-electronics category. The challenge is making those connections genuinely useful rather than forcing customers through layers of accounts and setup.

IFA gives Samsung a physical environment where visitors can see the entire ecosystem operating together instead of encountering individual products through separate advertisements.
