Pixel Gun 2 launches worldwide on iOS and Android

Cubic Games has launched Pixel Gun 2 globally on iOS and Android today, September 7, making it one of the clearest genuinely new mobile-game releases of the day. The sequel follows a long pre-registration campaign and arrives with a considerably more ambitious competitive structure than the original Pixel Gun 3D. Battles take place in destructible voxel arenas, while players build loadouts around weapons and perks rather than simply chasing higher-stat equipment.

Cross-platform progression with PC is also part of the strategy, widening the potential community beyond mobile. Cubic Games has a substantial audience to work with: the original franchise has passed 300 million downloads and generated more than $230 million in bookings since launching in 2013. That existing recognition gives Pixel Gun 2 a significant discovery advantage in crowded app stores, but expectations will also be higher.
