Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD moves toward its September 24 mobile launch

Ironhide Game Studio is now in the final pre-launch stretch for Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD, which is scheduled to arrive on iOS, Android and PC on September 24. The new tower-defence entry is positioned as a prequel set during the early days of Linirea and focuses on the period before Vez'nan becomes the villain familiar to long-time Kingdom Rush players. Genesis includes 18 stages across three major environments, more than 40 enemy types, six bosses, 15 upgradeable towers, nine spells and 12 heroes.

One of the most meaningful mechanical changes is the ability to field two heroes at the same time, opening up new combinations of passive abilities, active powers and ultimate attacks. Ironhide is also keeping the game within the premium tradition of the series rather than rebuilding it around energy timers or aggressive gacha mechanics. That makes Genesis particularly interesting in a mobile market where genuinely substantial paid releases remain less common than free-to-play live services.

Pre-registration is active ahead of launch, while a PC demo is already giving players an early look at the new systems.
