Garena's Palworld Online continues building toward its later-2026 release with pre-registration now active in South Korea. Developed and published by Garena under licence from Pocketpair, the project is not a direct port of Palworld but a standalone mobile MMORPG designed around the franchise's creature collecting, crafting and base-building ideas. Garena is promising a seamless connected world with cooperative PvE, competitive PvP, original story content and touch-optimised controls.
Optional one-tap systems are intended to simplify base management on phones without removing the underlying management depth. South Korea is an important proving ground because the market has extremely experienced mobile RPG players and high expectations for progression, social systems and technical polish. Garena also brings considerable operational experience from Free Fire and other live-service games. The central challenge is preserving Palworld's sense of freedom and unpredictable sandbox interaction.
If the mobile version becomes too structured or automated, it risks feeling like another conventional MMORPG wearing a popular licence rather than a genuine extension of the original game's appeal.
