Circular's new Ring 3 Pro and Ring 3 Slim continue to stand out among IFA 2026 wearables because they add two features smart rings have historically lacked: contactless payments and vibration. Both models include NFC for phone-free payments and haptic feedback for alarms, medication reminders and breathing exercises.
The Ring 3 Pro adds more advanced health tracking, including ECG-based atrial-fibrillation detection, while both versions monitor metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen, skin temperature, activity, sleep and HRV. Circular says the Pro can run for up to 12 days between charges, while the Slim is slightly lighter and uses a less extensive sensor package. The broader significance is that smart rings are evolving beyond passive tracking.
Their lack of a display makes them comfortable for sleep and continuous wear, but also limits everyday utility. Payments and tactile alerts begin to close that gap without turning the ring into another tiny screen. Pricing and final availability are still to come, with launch expected in 2027.
