Transformers: Eternal War enters final week before global launch

Transformers: Eternal War is now less than a week from its September 15 worldwide release on iOS and Android. Published by Wanda Cinemas Games with Hasbro, the tactical RPG brings Autobots and Decepticons together against a new Chaos Legion threat in a story written by veteran Transformers author Simon Furman. Players build five-character formations using roles such as Vanguard, Assault, Firepower, Recon and Support, while additional traits provide synergy bonuses.

Outside battle, the Ark acts as a management hub where facilities generate resources and help strengthen the roster. Eternal War has already undergone testing in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the Philippines, giving its developers time to refine progression and monetisation before global release. The Transformers licence guarantees substantial awareness, but licensed mobile RPGs frequently struggle after the initial collecting phase.

Eternal War therefore needs team-building systems that remain interesting when the novelty of unlocking Optimus Prime, Megatron and other familiar characters begins to fade.
