Motorola's Edge 70 Plus has received fresh European launch details following its IFA introduction. The handset uses a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 6.78-inch AMOLED display capable of refresh rates up to 144Hz and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. A 6,500mAh battery supports 45W charging, while a vapour chamber helps control heat during sustained workloads. Motorola is also emphasising physical durability through MIL-STD-810H testing and Gorilla Glass 7i.
In Europe, the phone is scheduled to arrive September 22 at €599.99. That price makes the Edge 70 Plus interesting because it brings headline flagship-style specifications into the upper-midrange market rather than competing directly with four-figure premium phones. The 200MP number will dominate marketing, but image processing, sensor size and optics ultimately determine real-world camera quality.
Motorola's larger strategy also includes new wearables and Qi2 accessories, giving the Edge 70 Plus an increasingly complete ecosystem around it.
