ARES: The Iron Vanguard moves within three days of global launch

Com2uS Holdings has confirmed that ARES: The Iron Vanguard will launch globally on September 15, leaving only three days before the science-fiction action RPG reaches iOS and Android users. Developed by SECONDDIVE, ARES differentiates itself with a real-time Suit Change system that allows players to switch combat roles during battle rather than remaining locked into a single character archetype. Equipment and suit development then create different play styles around those transformations.

The international launch follows the game's earlier Korean operation, giving the developer existing experience with its progression systems before exposing the title to a much larger audience. September 15 is becoming a particularly competitive mobile release date, with Transformers: Eternal War also scheduled for the same day. ARES will therefore need its futuristic visual identity and active combat to separate it from the fantasy-heavy RPG market.

The newly confirmed release date has turned this weekend into the final pre-registration phase.
