MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro is now only three days away

MediaTek will formally unveil the Dimensity 9600 Pro on September 15, putting its next flagship mobile processor only three days away. The company has already confirmed a strong emphasis on gaming, imaging and artificial intelligence, while reports indicate the Pro model will use a 2nm manufacturing process. AI-assisted GPU rendering is expected to be one of the headline technologies, potentially allowing supported games to produce higher-quality imagery without proportionally increasing rendering load.

MediaTek has spent several generations closing the perception gap with Qualcomm at the top end of Android, and a successful 9600 Pro could make the competition even tighter.
