Netmarble has delivered a substantial September 23 update to Arthdal Chronicles' New World servers in Korea, adding a new Village Invasion Defense Rift Dungeon, cloak equipment, equipment transmutation, a new constellation nebula and a solo option for the Dream Garden dungeon. The new defence activity is available to characters level 93 and above and can be entered three times weekly using standard Rift Defense Dungeon points.
Completing it awards Green Starlight Fragments and access to draws that can produce the newly introduced cloak equipment. The Transmutation system allows players to reroll potential stats on auxiliary gear up to three times, while the Green Nebula provides another long-term progression path. Netmarble has also expanded awakening collections and statue level caps, added seasonal mining activities and made numerous scheduler, interface and combat improvements.
The patch notes are enormous even by Korean MMORPG standards, extending into matchmaking changes, Chuseok events, costumes, progression products and a lengthy bug-fix list—including several mobile-specific stability and automation issues. That scale is worth noting because Asian mobile MMORPGs increasingly function less like periodically updated games and more like permanent digital theme parks.
