The Posthumous Investigation has arrived on Android, offering mobile adventure fans a wonderfully inconvenient detective assignment: solve a murder in 1937 Rio de Janeiro when the person hiring you is already the victim. The point-and-click mystery traps its investigation inside a time loop, giving players one repeating day to question suspects, solve puzzles and gradually work out who committed the crime.

Hand-drawn noir-influenced visuals provide the period atmosphere, while the looping structure turns repeated conversations and locations into investigative tools rather than simple repetition. Mobile is particularly well suited to point-and-click adventures because tapping an object is a much more direct translation of 'point and click' than manoeuvring an analogue stick until a cursor reluctantly agrees to inspect a desk drawer.
