Dynamite Blue launches globally today across iOS, Android, Steam and STOVE after an earlier South Korean release through ONE Store. The 2.5D turn-based collection RPG comes from Kosmo's12, a studio formed by core former Exos Heroes developers including director Youngzun Choi and art director Minsuk Son. Rather than revisiting traditional high fantasy, Dynamite Blue takes place in the cyberpunk city of Vierhaven, where a technology called Jagear allows human body parts to be replaced with machinery.

Players run a small Mid Ground agency, accepting apparently modest jobs that naturally escalate into considerably less modest city-shaking problems. More than 60 collectible characters are available, each with individual Pocket Stories, while combat combines six elemental relationships, Guardian Stone Breaks and a shared BP resource. The global build supports nine languages at launch, including English, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai, French and German. AFK progression is also part of the package.

Collection RPGs are hardly scarce on phones, but Dynamite Blue has a credible creative pedigree and a distinctive pixel-art battle presentation. Whether it can escape the enormous gravity well of the gacha market will depend on the writing, combat and generosity after launch rather than merely the number of attractive people standing in front of neon signs.
