Key takeaways
- Harvest Festival GO Pass reward collection window closes strictly at 8pm local time on October 7.
- Applies to rewards unlocked during the event including Shiny Applin and Rocket takeover items.
- Indonesia players have an additional deadline until 11:59pm for Patterns of the Wild Timed Research.
One small but important Pokémon GO deadline arrives tonight. Although the Harvest Festival and Team GO Rocket takeover ended on October 5, rewards already unlocked through the Harvest Festival GO Pass remain claimable only until 8pm local time today, October 7. After that, unclaimed rewards disappear.
The distinction is easy to miss because event gameplay has already finished: players can no longer progress the Pass, complete its event Timed Research or enjoy the temporary Harvest Festival mechanics, but unlocked GO Pass rewards have enjoyed a two-day grace period. Those rewards came from the free and Deluxe versions of the Pass, which accompanied the debut of Shiny Applin and the Rocket storyline involving Shadow Zekrom.
Anyone who participated should therefore open the game and check the Pass rather than assuming rewards were automatically collected. This is one of modern live-service gaming's stranger rituals: after defeating monsters, criminals and assorted supernatural threats, the final boss is remembering to press a claim button before an arbitrary clock expires.
Pokémon GO players in Indonesia have an additional October 7 deadline, with the Patterns of the Wild Timed Research scheduled to remain available until 11:59pm local time.
