RedMagic 11S Pro keeps the transparent liquid-cooling hype alive before launch
RedMagic's 11S Pro is set for an 18 May reveal, with dual wind-and-water cooling, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 and a true full-screen AMOLED display in focus.
RedMagic is keeping the 11S Pro hype loud before tomorrow's launch. Current reporting says the phone uses Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 Leading Edition, Red Core R4, CUBE Qingtian Game Engine 3.0 and dual wind-and-water cooling. The flashiest part is still the visible liquid-cooling design: RedMagic is leaning into a transparent body where players can actually see the blue cooling ring, complete with RGB accents and a full gaming-phone identity. The practical specs matter too: a 6.
85-inch AMOLED true full-screen display, 144Hz refresh rate, 8,000mAh battery, high-speed charging, bypass charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack for low-latency audio. As always, the launch event needs to prove how much of this translates into stable frame rates rather than showroom theatre. But as gaming-phone theatre goes, RedMagic knows exactly what it is doing.
