Lenovo Legion Go S discount keeps SteamOS alternatives in the spotlight
The Legion Go S has dropped to £404.10 in the UK, giving Steam Deck shoppers a cheaper SteamOS handheld option while Deck stock remains tight.
Lenovo’s Legion Go S is getting fresh attention because price can change the whole handheld conversation. TechRadar highlights a UK deal dropping the SteamOS version to £404.10 from £549.99, while Steam Deck stock remains problematic. The Legion Go S uses an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go, 16GB RAM, a 1TB SSD and an eight-inch WUXGA 120Hz display.
It does not have the Steam Deck OLED’s screen magic, and it is not built to crush the most demanding modern games, but running SteamOS gives it a much cleaner handheld feel than many Windows rivals. For players with large Steam libraries who are tired of waiting for official Deck restocks, this kind of deal makes Lenovo’s handheld much easier to take seriously.
