Clash Royale shifts from Heist chaos into Sudden Death League
Clash Royale’s Heist Challenge ends today, while the Sudden Death League begins and runs until 28 May in the Siege & Swish season.
Clash Royale has a useful calendar handover today. The Heist event and its Challenge wrap up on 18 May, ending the Safe-smashing mode where players ignore Crown Towers and race to destroy the opponent’s vault. At the same time, Sudden Death League begins and runs until 28 May. That gives players a very different competitive rhythm: faster pressure, less room for slow mistakes and a format that rewards players who can convert small openings into match-ending damage.
The broader Siege & Swish season still has the Bowler’s Mixtape album event running until 25 May, so there are multiple progression paths live at once. For regular players, today is the point to finish Heist rewards and switch mental gears for Sudden Death.
