Forza Horizon 6 is not a mobile game, but today it is a big handheld-gaming story. The standard release lands on 19 May, and the game is Steam Deck Verified at launch. The official Steam announcement also says it is optimized for PC gaming handhelds including the Xbox ROG Ally and Ally X, with cross-save across supported platforms. That matters because big open-world racers are not always comfortable on portable PCs.
Small-screen UI, shader stutter, battery draw and control mapping can all wreck the “play anywhere” dream. Verified status does not guarantee magic, but it tells handheld players the game has been tested for Steam Deck compatibility and should not require heroic tinkering just to start driving. For mobile-minded players, this is another sign that handheld PCs are now part of mainstream launch planning.
