Roblox expands mental-health tools, support resources and well-being partnerships
Roblox has announced new mental-health partnerships, screen-time tools, Do Not Disturb settings and educational resources for players and families.
Roblox is making another platform-safety push, this time around mental health and digital well-being. The company has announced partnerships with Koko and ThroughLine, plus new educational resources and platform features tied to Mental Health Awareness Month. One upcoming project is a bullying-resilience game developed with Koko, Playerthree and researchers from Northwestern University’s Lab for Scalable Mental Health.
Roblox is also expanding support locator tools, screen-time limits, Do Not Disturb settings and family guidance resources. For mobile coverage, this matters because Roblox is one of the world’s most important mobile-first social gaming platforms, especially for younger users. Better well-being design is not just PR; it is part of whether parents, regulators and players continue trusting Roblox as a place to spend time.
