Love and Deepspace passes $1bn user spend while Pokémon TCG Pocket clears 200m downloads

Mobilegamer.biz’s latest data digest highlights huge milestone numbers for two of mobile’s biggest recent hits.

Two of mobile’s biggest recent success stories have hit major milestones. According to Mobilegamer.biz’s latest data digest, Love and Deepspace has generated $749m in IAP revenue and crossed $1bn in total user spend based on Appmagic data. Pokémon TCG Pocket has also passed 200m downloads since its October 2024 launch, according to the game’s official X account, with Appmagic estimating around $1.16bn in IAP revenue for The Pokémon Company and DeNA.

The two games are very different, but the lesson is the same: mobile players still spend heavily when the product has the right emotional hook. Love and Deepspace owns the high-production romance lane, while Pokémon TCG Pocket turns card collecting into a daily habit loop.
