ARES: The Iron Vanguard opens early preview on Android and PC

ARES: The Iron Vanguard is now in early preview, giving Android and PC players a first chance to test Com2uS’ sci-fi action RPG before its wider launch later this year. The preview runs until 27 May and focuses on real-time combat in a near-future space-opera setting. Players can switch between combat suits, fight across different terrain, use class-based weapon styles and join large-scale co-op content such as raids and boss encounters.

The mobile angle is important because high-speed sci-fi ARPGs can look great in trailers but fall apart if touch controls are awkward or visual effects swamp the screen. Early preview tests are exactly where those problems need to be found. If ARES feels responsive on phone, it could become one of the stronger action-RPG candidates for late 2026.
