AlternaVvelt Blue Exorcist AS announces shutdown, but an offline version softens the blow
Aniplex’s Blue Exorcist mobile ARPG will end service on 22 June, with final story content and an offline version planned before the September download deadline.
AlternaVvelt Blue Exorcist AS is heading for an early shutdown. Aniplex has announced that the 3D action RPG will end service on 22 June 2026, barely a year after launch. The game had a strong IP foundation, fully voiced story content and mission-based ARPG combat, but anime branding alone is not enough in today’s mobile RPG market. The better news is that the team is preparing an offline version after end of service, with the download/update window available until 30 September. That matters.
Too many mobile games disappear completely after shutdown, leaving fans with nothing but screenshots and old trailers. AlternaVvelt still closing this quickly is disappointing, but at least players should have a way to revisit the story and world after the servers go dark.
