Nekomancer: Tower Defense brings spooky cat strategy to pre-registration

Nekomancer: Tower Defense has opened pre-registration, and the pitch is immediately easy to understand: spooky cats, undead armies and roguelike tower-defense chaos. SuperPlanet is publishing the Owl & Otter-developed game on Android and iOS, with launch planned for 31 May. Players take the role of Nox, an apprentice Nekomancer who accidentally unleashes an undead legion and then has to clean up the mess before anyone important notices.

The feature list includes 21 cat characters, more than 20 towers, dungeons, skill trees and roguelike progression. It is the kind of theme that can work well on mobile because tower defense thrives when units are readable, upgrades are satisfying and the tone is strong enough to make repeated runs feel charming rather than mechanical. Creepy-cute cats are not a bad way to start.
