Light and Night officially opens its Southeast Asia closed beta today, giving otome fans in the region their first proper hands-on window with one of China’s best-known romance games. The official VNG Games notice says the closed beta begins at 11:00 AM GMT+7 on 20 May, with Android and iOS support.
The appeal is obvious for players who like story-led mobile romance: high-production character routes, calls, messages, stylish presentation and the kind of emotional daily interaction loop that helped titles like Love and Deepspace and Tears of Themis build loyal audiences. This is still a test, not the full SEA launch, so progress and monetisation details should be treated carefully. But as a regional beta, it is an important step toward making the game accessible to a much wider audience.
