Cluckmech Oasis mixes tower defence with bullet-heaven action

Cluckmech Oasis is now available on iOS, combining tower defence, roguelite progression and bullet-heaven combat in a deliberately eccentric package. Players control armed animal heroes who escort a mobile base through maps invaded by hostile alien plants. Rather than relying only on automatic weapons or fixed defensive lanes, the game lets players place towers freely while also moving a hero around the battlefield and using active abilities.

Different characters, weapons and Cluckmechs support varied approaches, while more than 300 upgrades create a large number of potential builds over repeated runs. Maps can contain unexpected conditions and layout changes, making positioning and adaptation important as enemy pressure increases. The colourful retro-inspired presentation may initially make the game look like a lightweight novelty, but the size of the upgrade pool suggests a more substantial tactical system underneath.

Cluckmech Oasis is currently limited to iOS on mobile, and its ability to retain players will depend on whether the large number of upgrades produces genuinely different strategies rather than small statistical changes.
