BanG Dream! Our Notes begins mobile closed beta and global pre-registration

BanG Dream! Our Notes begins its closed beta test on 6 August while global pre-registration continues for the upcoming mobile rhythm game. The new project expands the BanG Dream! universe with additional performers, fresh story material and a real-time co-play feature called GEKISO LIVE. That multiplayer focus is intended to make rhythm performances feel more social, allowing fans to play together rather than simply compare scores after completing the same song.

The series already has a strong multimedia identity built around music, anime and live performance, so Our Notes must satisfy existing fans while remaining understandable to newcomers. Closed beta testing should give the developers valuable information about timing accuracy, device performance, network stability and the clarity of the game's touch controls. Those areas are especially important in a rhythm title, where minor latency or inconsistent input can undermine the entire experience.

The pre-registration campaign also gives the publisher a way to measure regional interest before launch and distribute milestone rewards. A final worldwide release date has not yet been confirmed, but the test marks an important step toward launch and should reveal whether Our Notes can modernise the franchise's mobile formula without losing the character-driven appeal that built its audience.
