nubia has expanded its Philippine gaming lineup with two distinct devices, the Neo 5 Max and Neo 5 GT Special Edition. The Neo 5 Max takes an unusual approach with a huge 7.5-inch display, creating a device somewhere between a conventional phone and compact tablet. It uses MediaTek's Dimensity 7100, a 7,100mAh battery and 990Hz Neo Triggers designed to provide shoulder-style inputs for action games. The Neo 5 GT Special Edition focuses more directly on performance, pairing a 6.8-inch 1.

5K 144Hz AMOLED display with a Dimensity 7400-class processor, 6,210mAh battery, 80W charging and an AquaCore cooling system. Pricing of PHP 19,999 for the Max and PHP 26,999 for the GT positions both well below many flagship gaming phones. The two models demonstrate different interpretations of what mobile players need: one prioritises sheer screen area and battery capacity, while the other emphasises high refresh rate and thermal control.
