Village in the Shade Opens Above 34,000 Japanese Retail Sales

Village in the Shade was the strongest new physical release in Japan during Famitsu's latest reporting period. The game sold an estimated 21,965 Switch 2 copies and 12,458 original Switch copies, for a combined opening above 34,000 retail units. Its PlayStation 5 edition did not enter the weekly top ten. The figures cover boxed retail sales only and should not be interpreted as worldwide or total digital performance.
