Gears of War: E-Day Tests Larger-Scale Horde Siege Battles

Horde Siege is one of the central attractions of the ongoing Gears of War: E-Day beta. Microsoft describes the mode as an evolution of Gears' traditional wave-survival gameplay, expanding battles across larger environments and supporting more players than conventional Horde encounters. The current early-access beta gives The Coalition an opportunity to examine how the larger encounters behave under real-world network conditions before another open testing phase and the October release.
