The first multiplayer testing period for Gears of War: E-Day remains active today ahead of its expected conclusion on August 10. Access is available through qualifying preorders as well as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The test introduces Horde Siege, an expanded cooperative survival format designed around larger maps and heavier encounters, alongside competitive multiplayer.
Microsoft and The Coalition are using the test to gather live server, matchmaking, performance and gameplay data before the full game's October 6 launch.
