Kingdom Rush 6 reaches 200,000 wishlists and reveals full world map

Ironhide Game Studio has announced that Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis has surpassed 200,000 Steam wishlists, triggering the reveal of the game's full world map. The milestone arrives just two weeks before the September 24 launch on mobile and PC. Genesis acts as a prequel to the original Kingdom Rush, returning players to Linirea during an earlier period and exploring the origins of familiar characters and conflicts.

Mobile pre-orders are already open, and Ironhide is pushing toward a final community target of 250,000 wishlists. The studio also says an upcoming developer update will reveal more of the revised interface and tower-upgrade systems. Kingdom Rush has maintained an unusually durable position on smartphones because tower defence naturally suits touch controls and shorter sessions.

The new game includes 15 towers and lets players field two heroes simultaneously, creating more tactical combinations than previous entries. The September 9 milestone gives the launch campaign fresh momentum just as the release enters its final fortnight.
