Transformers: Eternal War moves within five days of global mobile launch

Transformers: Eternal War is now only five days from its September 15 worldwide release on iOS and Android. The free-to-play tactical RPG uses five-versus-five formations built around classes including Vanguard, Assault, Firepower, Recon and Support. Character traits can activate additional synergy bonuses, making formation design an important part of combat even though battles themselves contain automated elements.

Outside encounters, players expand the Ark and use its facilities to generate resources and strengthen their roster. Global pre-registration rewards include 1,000 summons, Jazz and Bumblebee plus anniversary-themed cosmetics. The Transformers licence guarantees immediate visibility, but licensed collection RPGs often face a harder challenge after the initial excitement of obtaining familiar characters.

Eternal War therefore needs its formation-building and progression systems to remain compelling independently of the licence. With September 15 approaching quickly, the current pre-registration push represents the final acquisition phase before the game has to prove itself through retention.
