Brawl Stars and Duolingo Prepare Unusual Global Crossover

Supercell and Duolingo have announced one of mobile gaming's more unusual collaborations, bringing Brawl Stars character Spike and Duolingo's Duo mascot into each other's apps. The event begins September 19 and continues through September 30. Brawl Stars receives a new 20-versus-one Boss Fight in which players collectively battle increasingly powerful versions of Duo. The encounter incorporates quizzes: correct answers can provide benefits while mistakes can result in damage or elimination.

Duolingo users receive their own limited-time quest featuring Spike, with daily lessons advancing the challenge. Completing the learning-side event can unlock rewards connected with Brawl Stars. The collaboration follows weeks of playful interaction between the two brands' social-media accounts and demonstrates how mobile-game partnerships are expanding beyond entertainment IP into mainstream apps and internet culture.

For Supercell, the crossover provides a way to reach Duolingo's enormous non-gaming audience while giving existing Brawl Stars players a genuinely different event structure.
