Azur Promilia Starts Its Third Major Mobile Test in China

Manjuu's open-world creature RPG Azur Promilia has entered another major testing phase, with its third Chinese closed beta beginning September 17 on PC, iOS and Android. Often described as the final large-scale closed test before launch, the Journey Test is a paid, data-wipe test requiring Chinese real-name verification, so it is not yet a global beta. Even so, it provides the clearest current indication of how the ambitious mobile version is progressing.

Players explore as a Starborn, collect creatures known as Kibo and fight using a three-character tag system built around active skills, ultimates, dodging and parrying. Outside combat, the game mixes exploration with housing, crafting and broader life-simulation systems. That combination places Azur Promilia directly in the increasingly competitive category of high-budget open-world mobile RPGs.

The important issue is no longer whether smartphones can technically render games at this scale, but whether developers can make large worlds comfortable to navigate in short handheld sessions. A final global release date has not been confirmed, making feedback and technical performance from this test particularly important.
