Mabinogi Mobile Passes 200,000 Japanese Pre-Registrations Ahead of October Launch

Nexon's Mabinogi Mobile has passed 200,000 pre-registrations in Japan ahead of its October 7 launch on iOS, Android and PC. The milestone follows the game's prominent Tokyo Game Show 2026 appearance and unlocks additional launch rewards, including Fashion Tickets, dye items and a Swordsman School Uniform set. Nexon has now added a 250,000-registration target with further rewards if the community reaches it before release.

Mabinogi Mobile is more significant than a routine mobile adaptation because it attempts to preserve the social and lifestyle elements that made the original PC MMORPG distinctive. Combat sits alongside cooking, housing, character customisation and other slower activities, while cross-play connects mobile and Windows players. The game has already performed strongly in South Korea and won Game of the Year at the 2025 Korea Game Awards.

Japan therefore represents an important second test of whether the modernised version can translate Mabinogi's unusually relaxed identity across markets. The 200,000-registration milestone suggests there is considerable pent-up demand before servers even open.
