FORTBLOX: Mobile Fortress GO! rolls its post-apocalyptic base onto iOS and Android

HYPERRISE's FORTBLOX: Mobile Fortress GO! has completed its global mobile rollout, with the post-apocalyptic strategy auto-battler now available through both Google Play and the App Store. Civilization has collapsed because of energy depletion, which is unfortunate for humanity but excellent news for anyone who has always wanted to bolt guns onto a moving pile of scrap.

Players construct a roaming fortress using roughly 40 different block types and more than 100 weapons, then exploit placement and Docking Synergies to change how the structure attacks and survives. That gives the game a pleasant mechanical-toy quality: moving one component can alter an entire build rather than merely increasing a number from 342 to 357 and expecting applause. Progression also continues while players are away, mixing idle systems with deckbuilding and auto-battler strategy.

HYPERRISE is supporting launch with newcomer events, growth resources and opportunities for more than 1,000 free summons. The game technically began appearing globally earlier this week, but September 23 has brought wider launch coverage and full storefront availability. In a mobile market with no shortage of post-apocalyptic base builders, at least FORTBLOX has had the decency to put wheels underneath the base.
