Project63 opens its Android ghost-hunting test in Southeast Asia

Qookka Entertainment is testing Project63 on Android in Southeast Asia, giving mobile players an early look at a cooperative supernatural horror game centred on exploring a haunted school. The concept supports four-player ghost hunting, placing a small team inside an environment where the sensible response to unexplained noises would ordinarily be to leave immediately and never return. Video games, thankfully, have other priorities.

The current Google Play listing describes Project63 as a high-school ghost-hunting horror game and carries a Teen rating for violence and blood, with in-game purchases including random items also disclosed. The build is explicitly a test rather than a finished global release, with Qookka asking players to report bugs and provide feedback through its community channels.

Southeast Asia remains one of the industry's favourite regions for testing mobile multiplayer titles because of its large and highly engaged Android audience, so Project63's regional debut could provide useful data before any wider rollout. Cooperative horror has become increasingly popular on PC, but genuinely social ghost-hunting games remain less common on mobile.

Project63 is therefore worth watching, particularly if Qookka can make investigating supernatural activity with friends feel tense rather than like four people simultaneously arguing about which virtual door they were supposed to open.
