Oppo Find X10 Pro Max goes gloriously overboard with three 200MP rear cameras

Oppo has unveiled the Find X10 Pro Max in China, claiming the distinction of being the first smartphone equipped with three separate 200-megapixel rear cameras. At some point the megapixel race stopped being a race and became competitive hoarding, but Oppo argues its new DeepPix sensor technology is about image quality rather than numbers alone. The primary sensor is rated for up to 17 stops of dynamic range, while the camera system is wrapped into Oppo's ongoing Hasselblad partnership.

Underneath the photography hardware sits MediaTek's new Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, with the regular Find X10 using the 9600M. The Pro Max also carries an 8,000mAh battery and IP69 protection, giving the device specifications substantial enough to interest power users and mobile gamers even if cameras dominate the marketing. Oppo has confirmed plans for an international release of the Find X10 Pro Max, although exact regional timing and pricing remain to be detailed.

The launch puts MediaTek's newest flagship silicon into direct competition with Qualcomm's freshly announced Snapdragon generation and makes late 2026 unusually interesting for Android performance. Consumers, meanwhile, must apparently decide whether three 200MP cameras are extravagance or simply responsible preparation for photographing something very, very far away.
