LINE Disney Tsum Tsum has introduced two new limited-time characters inspired by Disney Lorcana, the company's collectible trading-card game. Lorcana Woody and Lorcana Cruella became available on November 1, with LINE Yahoo announcing additional November activities on November 2. The new characters reinterpret familiar Disney personalities through the magical artwork associated with Lorcana.
Woody features a transformation mechanic that introduces Hamm into puzzle sequences, while Cruella can clear surrounding pieces alongside connected Tsum characters. Both characters remain available until November 30, with increased recruitment probabilities during the opening days of the event. November 2 also marks the beginning of a new activity titled Let's Play Board Games. Players complete missions to roll dice, move across a virtual board and collect Magical Power required to clear different stages.
Rewards include collectible pins, useful items and opportunities to obtain Skill Tickets. Another event beginning November 7 will provide additional benefits through the game's community features. LINE Yahoo is also running a promotional campaign offering Disney Lorcana merchandise to selected participants. Disney Tsum Tsum has maintained an enormous international audience through its accessible puzzle mechanics and extensive collection of familiar characters.
Apparently the natural evolution of a Disney trading-card game is to transform its characters into tiny plush toys and then encourage players to remove them from the screen as quickly as possible.
