Outfit7 has launched Vampirio, a new roguelike action RPG that combines strategic base-building with supernatural combat. Released on November 3 and included here as previously missed launch coverage, the game is available through the App Store and Google Play in supported territories, as well as Steam. Developed by Cell Division, a new division within Outfit7, Vampirio explores the story of Vlad Dracul before his transformation into the legendary Dracula.

Players begin as a young monster hunter attempting to protect his homeland alongside his family. During daylight hours, they gather resources, construct defensive buildings and prepare their fortress for the next attack. When darkness arrives, waves of monsters, undead creatures and powerful bosses attempt to destroy everything they have built. Combat combines active abilities with roguelike upgrades, encouraging players to experiment with different hero builds and defensive strategies.

Additional heroes include Alba, Lucian and Morana, each offering different combat approaches. The game also includes campaigns exploring Vlad's increasingly tragic journey, alongside competitive raids against rival fortresses. Permanent progression rewards encourage repeated attempts even after unsuccessful battles. Outfit7 confirms that the mobile release is available internationally except in mainland China, Vietnam and Korea.

The Steam version currently includes a more limited selection of content than the mobile editions. Apparently becoming Dracula is considerably more complicated than being bitten by a vampire. It apparently involves extensive construction work, tactical planning and several very unpleasant evenings.
