Wargaming has announced a major collaboration between the World of Tanks franchise and Dune: Part Three, introducing themed content across PC, mobile and console editions ahead of the film's December release. The announcement was issued on November 3 and received additional international and Japanese coverage on November 4. For mobile players, the most relevant activities concern World of Tanks Blitz, which will run its collaboration from November 13 through November 27.

Participants can obtain rewards inspired by Dune characters including Paul Atreides, Alia Atreides and Stilgar. Additional content includes themed camouflage, vehicle attachments, collectible items and special garage decorations. Among the more unusual additions are a Death Commando voiceover that changes the sounds associated with selected tank actions and a Dune-themed garage environment that players can preserve after the event concludes.

The collaboration also introduces cosmetics inspired by the film's futuristic aircraft and vehicles. Different editions of World of Tanks operate under separate event schedules, so mobile players should not assume that every PC or console reward will also become available in Blitz. Wargaming has confirmed the overall collaboration but says further details about certain mobile activities will be published closer to their release.

The partnership demonstrates how established multiplayer games continue using entertainment franchises to introduce additional content and encourage returning players. Apparently the battle for Arrakis has become considerably more complicated now that somebody has introduced an entire collection of armoured vehicles.
