PUBG Mobile turns football anime into battleground fashion with Blue Lock crossover
PUBG Mobile has confirmed a Blue Lock collaboration launching later this month, with striker-inspired items and character sets planned.
PUBG Mobile is leaning into anime energy again with a new Blue Lock collaboration. The crossover is scheduled to launch in-game on 22 May and will bring themed items and character sets inspired by major Blue Lock strikers including Isagi, Bachira, Nagi and Itoshi. For PUBG Mobile, this is smart timing. The 2026 football season gives sports-themed cosmetics extra relevance, while Blue Lock gives the event a sharper personality than a generic football tie-in.
The real test will be whether the collaboration goes beyond outfits. PUBG Mobile crossovers work best when the theme changes the feeling of the battleground, even briefly, through limited event tasks, themed rewards, lobby treatment or mode-specific collectibles. The confirmed Prize Path angle suggests players will have a progression reason to log in rather than simply browse the shop. For fans of both anime and battle royale, this looks like one of the bigger May events to watch.
