Wuthering Waves reveals Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover plans

Wuthering Waves has finally put real shape around its Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration. Kuro Games has confirmed Lucy and Rebecca as playable Resonators for Version 3.4, with Rebecca planned as a free reward for players during the event. That is a strong move because crossover characters in gacha games often become expensive banner moments. Giving Rebecca away creates goodwill and gives every player a reason to participate.

The trailer and drip marketing suggest the event will lean into Night City style, hacking-inspired combat ideas and a more futuristic visual tone inside Solaris-3. David Martinez has also appeared in the marketing, but based on the current information, he looks more like a story presence than a confirmed playable character. For mobile players, this could be one of June’s biggest gacha events if the execution matches the hype.
